The
KCFOP represents the majority of the sworn law enforcement
officers working for the Kansas City, Missouri Police
Department. Providing police services to an estimated
441,000 citizens within a 318 square miles region
spanning an area within the four counties of Jackson,
Platte, Clay, and Cass.
The
Missouri Fraternal Order of Police represents more
law enforcement professionals than any other organization
in Missouri. and for good reason. The FOP has the
best record in the state in representing police officers.
When
you join the KCFOP you join an organization of "cops
representing cops" working in your behalf. The
KCFOP has a staff of attorneys whose job is to represent
you and your fellow members. In an emergency, they're
as close as a single phone call.
It
just makes sense to join the KCFOP. The KCFOP and
the Missouri FOP help write the laws and support legislation
that protects law enforcement professionals in Kansas
City and throughout the state. We work to help make
sure those laws are enforced for you.
