CITY COUNCIL        

The Kansas City, Mo., City Council has 13 council members, including the mayor. All are elected to four-year terms and all are elected at the same time. They may serve two consecutive terms. Kansas City, Mo., is divided into six council districts (see map or view the individual district maps referenced below). The mayor and six City Council members are elected at-large, with one at-large council member representing each district. Six council members are elected only by voters living in their districts.

The City Council Office is on the 24th floor of City Hall, 414 E. 12th St. (phone 513-1368; fax 513-1612). The Mayor's Office is on the 29th floor of City Hall (Phone 513-3500 fax 513-3518).
